David has been in the financial industry for nearly 20 years. He began his career in insurance after graduating from UNC Chapel Hill in 2001. In 2004, he was hired to help run local FinTech start-up Sageworks. Currently Abrigo, Sageworks exited to private equity and was acquired by Accel-KKR in 2019.
At MMC Group, he specializes in providing guidance to faculty members and physicians at Duke and UNC. David is an Eagle scout, and a graduate of The Institute for the Public Trust. In his free time, he enjoys spending time the beach, hiking the Appalachian Trail, and fishing.
